E-mail merupakan alternatif dalam berkomunisasi yang makin tinggi penggunaannya. Selain cepat, mudah, kita bisa juga memiliki alamat email dengan free/gratisan ( kita dapat register di gmail.com atau yahoo dengan free ) .

Sayangnya tidak hanya komunikasi yang dapat dilakukan melalui email, berbagai bentuk kesalahan dan serangan dapat dilakukan melalui email, salah satunya virus. beberapa kesalahan dalam ber-email juga dapat menggangu kenyamanan, antara lain

• subjek tidak jelas atau tidak ada (tentu kita tidak mau membuka email dari orang yang tidak dikenal / sumber yang tidak jelas apabila tidak diberi intro. Atau kalau berita singkat kenapa tidak diletakkan di subjek saja.
• Topik tidak sesuai subjek, seringkali kita mengganti topik email tanpa mengganti subjek dari email. Daripada membuat email baru seringkali kita mereply email tanpa mengganti subjek meskipun topik yang dibicarakan sudah berubah.
• Beberapa topik dalam satu email sah-sah saja, tetapi sangat mungkin penerima untuk melewatkan satu/lebih topik tersebut.
• Berpikirlah sebelum mengirim, menjawab email jangan terburu-buru untuk dikirim, baca ulang apakah yang tertulis sudah seperti yang anda mauksudkan.
• Reply to All or Reply? Kalau isi email kita untuk satu penerima jangan gunakan reply to all, tetapi hati-hati juga bila kita anggota suatu milist, karena meski kita hanya reply ( bukan reply to all) , email akan terkirim kesemua anggota milist.
• Kalau jawaban hanya ‘Ya’ atau ‘Tidak’, anda dapat menyertakan email asli untuk memberikan atas apa yang anda jawab.
• Hal lainnya yang dperlu diperhatikan adalah jangan sampai salah kirim baik isi email maupun penerima.

Why another PDF reader?

Sumatra PDF is a PDF viewer for Windows. Sumatra has a minimalistic design. Simplicity has a higher priority than a lot of features. It’s small and starts up very fast. It’s designed for portable use: it’s just one file with no external dependencies so you can easily run it from external USB drive.

Keyboard shortcuts
* space - scroll by screen
* backspace - scroll back by screen
* k - scroll by one line
* j - scroll back by one line
* Down - scroll by one line
* Up - scroll back by one line
* n - goto next page
* p - goto previous page
* Page Down - go to next page
* Page Up - go to previous page
* g - goto page
* q - quit
* + - zoom in
* - - zoom out
* r - reload PDF document
* <Shift> <Ctrl> + - rotate clockwise
* <Shift> <Ctrl> - - rotate counter-clockwise
* Home - go to first page
* End - go to last page

Command-line arguments
* -print-to-default FILE_NAME.PDF - prints a given PDF to a default printer
* -print-to PRINTER_NAME FILE_NAME.PDF - prints a given PDF to a printer named PRINTER_NAME
* -exit-on-print - when -print-to-default or -print-to is used, will exit after printing

Note: printing is experimental and not well tested.
Disable viewing PDF files directly in web browser (IE and FireFox)
Adobe Acrobat also comes with Internet Explorer and FireFox plugin which makes it take over PDF files downloaded via browser and display them directly in the browser. This is not always a desired behaviour and you can use Sumatra as the default PDF viewer in both IE and Firefox, without completely uninstalling Adobe Acrobat. Here are the steps (based on this blog post):

* Launch Sumatra PDF viewer
* Select File/Make Sumatra a default PDF reader
* Launch Adobe Acrobat
* Select Edit/Preferences
* Select Internet
* Uncheck Display PDF in browser
* Click OK
